Virtual Tenant Network
VTN has 2 components:
- VTN coordinator (extern application)
- VTN manager (Network Service Function)
You can assign VTNs to Link paths. For instance VTN1,2,3 is assigned to Path1(Link1, Link2). VTN4,5 is assigned to Path2(Link3)
VTN manager
The VTN manager:
- creates the VTN networks,
- map virtual interfaces to physical interfaces.
This division into slices of network is used to dynamically allocate brandwidth based on clients needs.
